Origin and Know-How

The aromatic power born from Madagascar’s High Plateaus.

EKL Export’s Black pepper, from Piper nigrum, is grown in the fertile northern and eastern regions of Madagascar, on rich, well-drained volcanic soils.
Hand-picked when the berries turn red, it is then sun-dried until it develops a deep black color and an intense aroma.

Aromatic and sensory profile

Warm and full-bodied aroma – with woody, smoky, and slightly fruity notes. Perfect for red meats, sauces, cheeses, marinades, and condiments.
